Greetings

As 2018 comes to a close, we have many thanks, some sadness, and some excitement for the upcoming year.

First, a great many thanks to those that have attended and participated in our events this past year. From the Piping at the Mansion at the beginning of the year, to the Kirkin of the Tartan and Samhain celebrations just passed, and everything in between, we have enjoyed everyone's company. As the new year approaches, we look forward to seeing even more people at our events.

With sadness, we say goodbye to one of our founding members, Herbert Campbell. Herb passed away September 5th, going to join his wife, Betty, whom passed in 2016. Both of them will be greatly missed.

Our excitement comes with the events that are planned for the new year. First off, piping will be returning to the mansion in January. At the end of the month, we will be celebrating Burns' night with dinner, music, and poems. Come summer, there will be a mini-golf tournament. And, in October, we will be bringing back our Highland Games, at the Turlock Fairgrounds. These large events will be joined with our monthly meetings, outreach activities, and other ventures as we develop them. Keep an eye out here as information becomes available.
